The left-right order of the maneuvers changes in every treatment session. This is done to avoid the irritation caused by the maneuvers themselves. For the same reason three different sequences of positional treatment (PT) are used. Repeat the maneuvers of PT in turns as follows:

LR= first the left canal, then the right canal

RL = first the right canal, then the left canal

1. superior canal LR, posterior canal RL, horizontal canal LR

2. posterior canal LR, horizontal canal RL, superior canal LR

3. horizontal canal LR, superior canal RL, posterior canal LR

Note the order of the maneuvers in the two initial phases of PT.
